This is a pair of Blue Denim XHi chucks in a men's size 10.5 or women's size 12.5. This is a very rare and hard to find model. The shoes are brand new, unworn, and come in their original box. They were made just after the Converse bankruptcy in the early 2000s. They have 12 silver eyelet pairs. With so many eyelets, there are multiple lacing options. The shoes come with retro width hemp shoelaces. This style of shoe was one of Converse's first forays into a rougher, unfinished look, like the jeans sold beaten and with holes in the denim. The uppers are blue denin that is not trimmed at the side and top edges. The stitching is also hemp. The racing stripes and heel patches are black. The outer foxing and toe caps are a blue-grey color, complimentary to the denim uppers. In keeping with their broken look, the ankle patches are silkscreened on the sides, with a cracked appearance. The inner canvas is the typical off white canvas, and the outer soles are rubber, painted black. They come with a Chuck Taylor key tag.
