Magenta Renew High Top Chucks

Converse has created a new line of Chuck Taylor sneakers called the renew. Made competely of recylced materials, mostly plastics, the shoes feature canvas uppers made of 100% recycled polyester from used plastic bottles, recycled polyester laces, and a minimalist Chuck Taylor All Star ankle patch (barely viewable on the black model). The outer soles have white speckles on them and the slogan “Life’s too short to waste” is written on the outer foxing of the magenta model and on the upper canvas or toe caps of other models. The magenta high top model is the only one so far with standard black racing stripes on the outer foxing and toe caps. Other high top models come in black, pale puffy (off white), and wheat. Low top models come in jade stone green, mason taupe brown, and gold, all with black and white trim.
